The BULGARIAN ICT WATCH round table is a project of ICT Media and BASSCOM which aims at helping and facilitating the dialogue and partnership opportunities between the State and ICT businesses regarding high-tech exports. Representatives of the State, Branch Associations, ICT companies and consultants traditionally take part and discuss the challenges facing the IT industry in IT products and services export, the role of State institutions in promoting this process and the opportunities for exporting ICT products to specific target markets for the Bulgarian ICT companies in 2018.
 
Over the years the conference has been held with the traditional support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria, Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA), Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA), Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies (BAIT), Bulgarian Outsourcing Association (BOA).

  • Alexander Manolev

    Alexander Manolev Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria

    Alexander Manolev holds a Master‘s degree in Economics from The University College London, Great Britain. He has specializations in Bulgaria and abroad, amongst which: "Management of Structural Projects of the EU", "Business Communications and Media Connections", "Investments in Developing Markets", etc. He commenced his professional career in the National Association of the Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, where he was responsible for the development of projects for European financing. He worked in the sphere of marketing and he has occupied positions at medium and superior managerial level in a number of companies in telecommunication and finance sector. He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Tourism of The Republic of Bulgaria in 2015. In 2016 he undertook the management of the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance. Elected as a Member of Parliament of the Republic of Bulgaria in March 2017. Appointed as Deputy Minister of Economy in May 2017.

    Mrs. Gabriela Kozareva is an Executive Director of Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency from 20 February 2018. In 1996 she completed her secondary education as a graduate student of National High School for Ancient Languages and Cultures "St. Constantine-Cyril Philosopher." In 2001, Graduated as a master in law at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", with specializations in the field of Justice, Public Administration and International Law and International Relations. From 2001 to 2003 she was a legal consultant at Jurex Consult AD. From 2003 to 2007 she worked as a court assistant at the SAC, to a fivemember chamber of the court, with the judge-patron the Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court, Judge Svetla Petkova. In the period 2007-2011 she was a legal adviser to a number of local and international Foreign commercial companies operating in the infrastructure, real estate, investment financing, corporate structuring, protection of competition, environment and others. From 2011 to 2015 she worked as Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs Directorate in "Naftena Industria Serbia Petrol "EOOD, a subsidiary of GazpromNeft AD. Since 2015 she has been director of Sport Infrastructure and Management of State Participation Directorate at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. From May 2015 to February 2018 she has been Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports.

    Tanya Koicheva was appointed the Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Bulgaria in London in October 2011. Tanya has over 20 years of experience in developing international economic relations and enhancing growth through trade promotion. Specialized in business training programmes management and contributed to the establishment and management of the FLAG Trade Centre. As the UK Trade and Investment Director in Sofia was in charge of attracting British investors to Bulgaria and advancing their projects as well as strengthening the bilateral trade. Initiated and delivered leadership development programmes. MBA graduate from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and the Open University, UK. Member of the British Institute of Export.
